Coaching/Support Team Cycling Coach - Clive Asplen Clive is a former professional cyclist both on and off road. He started cycling as a junior racing mountain bikes in the UK going to the world championships on two occasions. He won the national championships in the UK and also finished on the podium on another occasion. He raced cyclo cross during the winter and started road racing as a professional by the year 2000. He raced mainly as a pro in Belgium/ Holland but also throughout Europe and for brief periods in north america. He has the enviable distinction of having raced the Giro. He raced his first ironman in 2002 and won a number of triathlons prior to moving to Canada in 2005. He has now raced in 12 Ironmans included 10 as a professional. In addition to racing throughout British Columbia and the US he has completed 3 Epic Camps. Clive lives in Auckland with his lovely wife and daughter. He works with young people with mental health and care and protection issues, coaching swimming and is currently completing his masters degree in exercise physiology with a goal of continuing through to a PHD. Team Nutritionist – Jo Langley Jo has been involved in the Complimentary Medicine Industry for the past 15 years starting off her career as a Naturopath, Dietician/Nutritionist, Acupuncturist and Massage Therapist.  She now provides specialist training and technical seminars for Doctors, Pharmacists and Pharmacy staff about complimentary medicines.  Her job takes her all over Australia and New Zealand and keeps her time on the bike fairly limited at the moment!  She will definitely be doing a few Half Ironman's this year. Team Masseur – Bruno Rizzo There is no better Masseur in Australia! Bruno was the Masseur for the Australian Track and Field Team at the Olympics in Sydney, Athens and Beijing as well as the World Championships and Commonwealth Games. His list of clients is a tribute to how good he is. If you can manage to score a regular massage with Bruno then don't give up your spot as you'll be waiting a long time to get it back again. Team Mechanic – Troy Hawkins Anyone who has had Troy work on their bike previously will be able to tell you how good he is. Troy used to work at Velo Cycles which is renowned for the quality of their repair work. Troy's work comes highly recommended by the guys at Coyote-Racing.
